Helen’s Bag! – Un sac pour ma fille ainée Helen!

I am a little late in making this bag for my daughter Helen who asked for it as a Christmas gift but ….

Je suis un peu en retard avec ce cadeau de Noel pour ma fille ainée Helen mais …

This morning I started with my sewing book and my pile of materials and this evening I have completed this stunning bag!

Ce matin j’ai commencé avec mon livre de couture et mes fournitures et ce soir j’ai terminé ce sac formidable!

Helen chose the Liberty fabric, a pretty design in needlecord from Truro Fabrics and the lining fabric and bag handles and I just made them up! I hope she likes the bag when I deliver it this weekend!

Helen à choisi le tissu de Liberty d’un magasin Anglais Truro Fabrics, le tissu de doublure et les poignées et j’ai fait le sac! J’espère qu’elle aimera le sac ce weekend quand je ferai le livraison chez elle!

Work in Progress!

Today, on the blog of La Passion au Bout des Doigts you can see one of my current works in progress (I have several!). It is a cut through house that I have been attempting to finish for many a long year but now I have a goal – the Embroidery Salon next February in Pexiora, France has houses for it’s theme – so it must be finished!

Aujourd’hui vous pouvez voir sur le blog La Passion au Bout des Doigts un de mes ouvrages que je suis en train à réaliser. C’est l’interieur d’une maison en point de croix et je l’ai commencé il y a longtemps mais maintenant j’ai un but – le prochain Salon à Pexiora en Fevrier 2015 a pour son thème les maisons – donc il devra terminé!

It’s Finished – C’est Terminé

I have finished and framed the Four Leaf Clover design by “Le Petit Point Compté”. I used two colours of Dinky Dyes variegated thread and one colour of Kreinik Blending Filament on 18 count Aida. I’m rather pleased with the way the design has turned out! You can find the chart for this design by clicking the link here

J’ai terminé et j’ai encadré Le Trèfle à Quatre Feuilles par “Le Petit Point Compté. J’ai utilisé 2 couleurs de fils dégradé de Dinky Dyes et 1 couleur de fil Kreinik Blending Filament sur Aida 7 pts / cm. Le tableau me plait bien! Vous trouvez la grille de ce modèle-ci par cliquez le lien ici.

Nearly Finished – Presque Terminé

My Four Leaf Clover from Le Petit Point Compté is progressing nicely and is nearly finished. I want to take the finished picture with me to my next Exhibition “Art Textile en Berry” at Brinay (18) next week – watch this space!

Le Trèfle à Quatre Feuilles est presque terminé. Je veux apporter l’ouvrage terminé au prochain Salon “Art Textile en Berry” à Brinay la semaine prochaine!

I have now completed one of the four clover leaves of this design by Virginie Klausz of Le Petit Point Compté using Dinky Dyes and Kreinik threads.

J’ai réalisé une des quatre feuilles à trefle de ce modèle de Virginie Klausz de “Le Petit Point Compté”. J’utilise les fils de Dinky Dyes et Kreinik.

Celtic Motif Finished – Motif Celtique Réalisé

This afternoon I went to Pexiora for the group ‘Tchatche et Petit Points’ and managed to finish my next celtic motif! I have used 3 colours of Dinky Dyes variegated threads in the design.

Cet après-midi je suis allée à Pexiora au groupe ‘Tchatche et Petit Points’ et j’ai réalisé le prochain motif celtique! J’ai utilisé 3 couleurs de fils Dinky Dyes coton mouliné dégradé dans cette modèle.

Here is my new Work In Progress – it is a model by Virginie Klausz of “Le Petit Point Compté”. I’m using 2 Dinky Dyes colours together with Kreinik Blending Filiament on 18 count Fuchsia colour Aida. I met Virginie at Cholet in January and now have some of her exquisite designs on our website.
