You may remember that I mentioned in the post of July 2nd that there were some magnificent cross stitch pieces on display at the ‘Fil en Fete’ celebration at St Jean d’Angely, Charente Maritime (17) at the end of June. These were all by designer Françoise Marchadier. I shared the photos that I took with my friends at Pexiora and they have now posted two articles on their blog about this exhibition. Vous vous souvenez sur mon blog de 2 juillet que j’ai dit qu’il y avait un exposition magnifique de point de croix au ‘Fil en Fete’ à St Jean d’Angely, Charente Maritime (17) à la fin de juin. Today I returned from an exhibition at St Jean d’Angely in the Charente Maritime in France. Here is a photo of my stand and some of the marvellous patchwork and cross stitch on display there.
Aujourd’hui je suis revenue du Salon à St Jean d’Angely, Charente Maritime (17). Voici une photo de mon stand mais aussi des photos de créations du Patchwork et du Point de Croix merveilleux qui etaient exposé dans l’Abbaye Royale tout le weekend dernier.

I have finished and framed the Four Leaf Clover design by “Le Petit Point Compté”. I used two colours of Dinky Dyes variegated thread and one colour of Kreinik Blending Filament on 18 count Aida. I’m rather pleased with the way the design has turned out! You can find the chart for this design by clicking the link here
J’ai terminé et j’ai encadré Le Trèfle à Quatre Feuilles par “Le Petit Point Compté. J’ai utilisé 2 couleurs de fils dégradé de Dinky Dyes et 1 couleur de fil Kreinik Blending Filament sur Aida 7 pts / cm. Le tableau me plait bien! Vous trouvez la grille de ce modèle-ci par cliquez le lien ici.
My Four Leaf Clover from Le Petit Point Compté is progressing nicely and is nearly finished. I want to take the finished picture with me to my next Exhibition “Art Textile en Berry” at Brinay (18) next week – watch this space!
